​The Firefree Exterior System is engineered to provide superior wildfire protection as it is fully tested to comply with the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) requirements. It is also the only exterior coating system that meets all ASTM weatherization and ASTM 2768 fire standards as outlined in the California Building Code (CBC) and International Building Codes (IBC). Our eco-friendly fire-retardant paint exterior products are not only safe to use but also environmentally conscious. With very low VOCs—well below current EPA regulations and California's stringent limits—our Firefree Class A paint qualifies for LEED v4 certification. Warranty​

It's important to note that while the Firefree Exterior System is tested and certified to delay fire ignition, it does not guarantee complete fire prevention. The effectiveness of the system depends on proper application, the conditions of the assembly, and the nature of the fire itself. In addition, other proactive measures for wildfire building hardening are recommended.
